Hunkered down in Austin is one of the finer design shops I’ve found: Ptarmak. Oh, y’know, the usual - they know exactly what they do best and they keep smartly within their britches, developing collateral for glad-to-be-here startups as well as some established brands such as Penguin, Kashi, and Victoria’s Secret. The better ones: the pictured buffet at the Old Faithful Shop in Vancouver, Honest Don’s Chop Shop in Kansas City, a hometown hitchin’, and, my personal favorite, Ursa Major men’s skin care from Vermont. I’m grateful to Ptarmak for highlighting this small company that seems to be confidently getting its feet under it in the best way…just got my free sample in the mail! [via]
